The speculation is that there was something in her/Tom's divorce agreement that required the hiding.

Was her relationship with Tom Cruise real or was it like a PR/contractual thing? And if it was the latter, why would Katie sign herself up for something like that? My guess is that she really did fall in love with Tom Cruise in the beginning, and eventually was very unhappy in the marriage. She seemed so robotic and awkward in her years with him.

She looks great with Jamie Fox, so much more relaxed and happy. Hope it works out for them,

It's hard to know how much of any Tom Cruise relationship is real or contractual. Katie was pretty young and he was a mega star at the time, so she probably did fall for him but was stifled once under the Scientology grip. See, I think she is dating down. I have though that since I first heard the rumors they were dating./ i just diont get why she would date him.

She is pretty and classy. He acts like a fool and he isnt attractive at all.

Creepy but probably a great thing for them in the end. Having to keep things private is a great way to avoid the destructive media circus that comes with being a public "it couple".

She is as bland as a saltine cracker; the only thing that made her remotely interesting was her escape from Tom and Scientology with Suri in tow. Jamie Foxx isn't to everyone's taste but he is an accomplished actor and pretty good song and dance man. Django Unchained was incredible because of him. In terms of musical roles, I actually preferred him in Dreamgirls to his performance in Ray slightly because it seemed more effortless.

I agree with your assessment of KH. She is bland and dull but clearly not entirely stupid.

But I think Jamie Foxx is extremely talented and more importantly, HOT.

I'm happy they can finally go public now that the 5-year "no public dating" clause of her settlement with Tom Cruise has expired.

I would love for Katie Holmes to write a tell-all about her marriage to TC, Scientology, and her stealth escape. It will never happen, but boy would I enjoy reading it.
