They're quite good about timelines and process now. They lost way too many court cases simply on technicalities in the past.

It's not clear from OP's message that her child has an IEP now. Coming from the eastern shore I would imagine it's quite possible they don't (I used to live there; it's beautiful but a few decades behind in lots of ways).

In the first post she says he has an IEP.

Thanks to all who have replied . The information I gathered from you all has been helpful. We are in the process now I'm pretty sure I will have plenty of more questions as things arise .
