Should Diwali be a national holiday?

I'm at best agnostic and I love Christmas. I always tell people that Christmas would be great if they just stopped messing it up with all that Jesus stuff. It's largely a non-religious (or secondarily religious) holiday for a large number of people.

But it is primarily a religious holiday. No many how many snowmen and reindeer you add, you can't take the Christ out of Christmas. Politically, it would be suicide to seculariize it. It's the only official federal religious holiday.
