I was thinking the same thing after seeing the posts from yesterday. It must be one very insecure person. I just lost 40 lbs and feel great. But i didn't do it just to look good although it's a benefit obviously. I feel so much better and my doctor told me I had to do it or I'd have to go on medication for the rest of my life. I never felt like my weight defined me as a person. I dated plenty before weight loss and never once worried if I would be able to find a guy who would like me. There is so much that makes me who I am and that's just one part of it.

Depends on the context of the hug. A short hug like you'd give a friend, nah. A long hug, more common between couples, absolutely its possible.

I can say an absolute hell yes for 99% of them if they are 17. LOL

Now, we aren't talking about a simple hug but rather one that has more added in which is why I mentioned that look and the kiss. As for other men my age, don't know. Just know that she has, and still does, do that for me.

Oh, one more thing, testosterone levels can affect men's ability to respond and for most men as they age that gets lower.

Frequency of sex and woman's weight are tangible metrics by which all men initiate a relationship.
So when these basic parameters change during a marriage, it destabilizes the entire premise of him being interested in her (romantically).

Fat fixation? Perhaps because there is a national obesity epidemic. We rarely talked about fat people 40 years ago.
