| What about working as a teacher's aide at a part-time/half day preschool? Or an aide at your children's school? You could offer to be a substitute teacher at half day preschools (MWF, TTh, 9-12 type of preschools). |

I don't know what county you are in but in AA County, there are some moms who teach drown proofing to all 5th graders in the county. They are on contract and work when school is open and closed it is closed so they can mimic their children's schedules. They start around 9 and are off by 2.
You could also be a school bus driver, lunch lady, part time secretary in the school office, aide in the classroom. Are there any local bakeries near you that want moms to work during the day, restaurants that need lunchtime help? Can you do taxes as a part time gig? What about do day care at home -- are there any pregnant moms at your kid's school that would like a school hour based nanny -- you could babysit for them and only work when they work (I know a mom that did this, she took care of 2 of her kid's teachers babies since they had them around the same time and it was easy for drop off and pick up.) |
