When do women stop putting men before their girlfriends??

I think it probably has more to do with the fact that for PP's friends, it's not a spouse, it's some guy(s) they're interested in - generally a she's more into him than he is into her situation. They're being strung along...so they're willing to drop everything (including plans with friends) the moment the guy reaches out. Sure, lots of us did that at 17...but I think the people who were still doing it at 25 are the type who will at 50. It's sad, but it's just how they are (confidence issues, etc)

No one is being flaky with their friends and repeatedly canceling last minute because their husband asked them out for drinks / to come over. (Now, having to cancel on a friend because their husband has had an emergency etc. is a different story - and in a face off between husband's last minute emergency and friend's last minute emergency, obviously husband will generally take precedence. But that's not what OP is talking about)
