Renewed Interest in Smoking Weed

When I was younger it was "weed" and it was good. We listened to albums and ate munchies. Now, they've got strains that actually differ from giddy to elation to happiness. Not to mention the ones that are for seduction, etc... Wow.

Was just in OR. The budtender was telling me about the strains and told me one was 'mellow uppity'. Sold.

After kids were old enough to start snooping around in my closet I threw away all my paraphernalia...and I had some cool tools! Now I'm super bummed that I threw all that out. I'm totally into smoking again once and awhile. Unfortunately, now, I don't know where to get it. It seems too risky to be asking around. (Maryland resident)

It's not hard. Think of the people you know who wouldn't judge you if you told them you want to smoke again. There's gotta be a few who might not be useful, but wouldn't think less of you. Maybe they even feel the same way.

Anyway, one of them knows someone who smokes sometimes, or who has someone in their life who does.

It's a lot like finding a contractor for your house. You wouldn't ask everyone you know for recommendations, only the few people who might be useful.

I would have been interested--it's been 25 years. But then I look at the impact on some of DS' classmates--lack of motivation, depression because it's a temporary high at the cost of lowering serotonin--and I lose interest. Pass me a glass of red wine.
