I hope my H doesn't kidnap the child. But it's a good idea to move out/away before filing.

does your child have a passport? if no, don'tsign any papers to get one. if yes, find it and put it in a safe deposit box only you can access.

He does have it, and I store it. But I don't think it will come to that. I will certainly put it away before filing.
