These sisters harmonize beautifully. I believe they are Swedish but like most Scandinavians, you won't notice an accent when they sing. |

Second Simon and Garfunkel and the Indigo Girls. The Milk Carton Kids have a similar, updated Simon and Garfunkel vibe.
For trios, try the Roches (sublime harmony) and the Wailin' Jennys. Looking for more suggestions myself. |

Or that the original request was for male/female or female/female. So much as I love Simon and Garfunkel, they don't fit the bill. I think Alex and Sierra do great (check out youtube for "X Factor Alex and Sierra"). There are some great duos on "The Voice" in the battle rounds like |
