Jackson Hole, Wyoming (March - Spring Break)

You just can't know what the weather will be like in March because it could be warm/mud skiing which - no thank you - or it could be a blizzard.

I prefer JH in the summer - so gorgeous, weather is absolutely perfect, and you can really enjoy Yellowstone/the Tetons. But we are not huge skiers and it wouldn't be worth it to me to go skiing there.

But March is when school spring break is. It is hard to go for a week in Feb with school age kids and Xmas is also iffy because it is early on in ski season.

I'm a good skier and JH kicked my ass. My advice: don;t be cocky like my 26 year-old self.

I've skied there in March for the last 5 years and it's always been good. I wouldn't worry about March conditions!
