I prefer JH in the summer - so gorgeous, weather is absolutely perfect, and you can really enjoy Yellowstone/the Tetons. But we are not huge skiers and it wouldn't be worth it to me to go skiing there.

But March is when school spring break is. It is hard to go for a week in Feb with school age kids and Xmas is also iffy because it is early on in ski season.

I've skied there in March for the last 5 years and it's always been good. I wouldn't worry about March conditions!
