So I met one of the teens I mentioned in my post. Actually met again. We met before, when he still identified as a girl. DH and I met a very polite if uncomfortable teenager. We listened to the group of kids carrying on as friends. That's what they are. Friends.

It doesn't matter to them what changes have happened or will happen as long as everyone is happy and safe.
