I think its hard to explain how devastating his actions are for middle class black people in their 40s/50s like myself. We grew up with him pounding into our heads to get married, value family, stop having all these baby daddies and actually stay in the nuclear household and do right. He obviously didn't live those values. Even if these cases were rape (which I am sure they are) he clearly and admittedly cheated on his wife for years and years with tons and tons of women. Why would we just forget that and pay X amount of dollars to hear you scold us some more?

I heard Cosby speak 15 years ago in Philadelphia. Even then he rambled on and seemed completely incoherent. Obviously back then we knew nothing about the sexual assaults, and saw him as an American hero in severe decline. It was sad and uncomfortable.

I don't know why he and his people think putting him out there in front of people is a good idea. He is going to say or do something that will embarrass him and his family further. And it is cruel to his victims (and all victims of sexual assault) to encourage this approach.

Except the UVA rape story was about THREE rapes in that fraternity. Only 1 was false, for 1 of the cases the rapist went to jail. But let's just focus on the 1 fake one, that will invalidate the fact that rapes do happen at an alarming rate... but it doesn't unless you are delusional... which you seem to be.

I'm a middle class black person in that age range and I it is not devastating to me
He is a sick predator and his behavior, attitude and actions are not reflective of me or mine.
The Cosby show was great, but Cosby is a sick freak. It is dissapointing but I feel sorry for his victims and his family, not myself.
