• In the 7th and 8th grade groups, theASArecommendsthat teams are formed with 16 players. • With eleven (11) players on the field, that would provide five (5)substitutesfor each game. |

| In my experience, the younger age group players have frequent weekend schedule conflicts, so if it is pretty consistent that 2 kids are always missing because they are sick or have a conflict, a slightly larger roster is preferable. |

| There is no "I" in team. But, there are two in "playing time". Look to keep rosters small and then passcard up if more kids are needed for a game. |
