We left IT for language immersion ... yet still miss IT! Our friends are happy there, kids are challenged and are learning how to think critically.

Only other thought is to examine Montessori because it's quite distinct style of education. If you might prefer it, lee chml on the list.

+1 My children are at CHML and we have been pleased overall. You should look into Montessori because you generally have to enter at PK3 in primary, if it is an option you want for elementary at CHML or any of the charter Montessori schools (and possibly middle & high school if the upcoming charter is successful). Also, a PP mentioned that the CHML building was probably the worst of the 3. That may not be true after this summer's renovations - we have new windows in the entire school, a completely new HVAC system, new floors and paint throughout the school. You are in a very lucky spot though, all are good schools with middle school options.
