I think people think you mean takeout. You meant grocery delivery?
This feels small to you but feels like (is?) a big imposition to your neighbor. Especially if they aren't used to grocery deliveries. I know I'm not. If you're not there, you reschedule. End of story. |
| Seriously, OP, what was your neighbor supposed to do? bring the food into her house, put it in her fridge/freezer and wait for you to come home? Even without missing items, I'd wouldn't accept your food delivery. |
| You never asked neighbor if it was ok to accept your food? You are the rude and entitled one (bout I doubt you'll see that) |
| It was pretty rude of you not to be home. |
The whole point of scheduling is so that you are home. Did you call neighbor and ask if it was ok to take the food? Should she have put perishable items in her fridge/freezer since she had no idea when you'd get back? You're rude and entitled. I find it laughable you think you have the right to be annoyed by the neighbor ( although rude and entitled people often are laughable ) |
|
Really weird for you to be annoyed.
I'm tight with my neighbors, but would never have an expectation that they would take in my grocery delivery if I wasn't home. |
Why did you even ask her to take your order? You are ridiculous! |
|
Annoyed? That's rich.
I would not except your food delivery under any circumstances. You sound like if you get food poison you would probably post question on DCUM about the best lawyer to sue you neighbor. Deal with your own damn food delivery. |
Some of these posts baffle me. Makes me wonder if there is an alternate universe some people live in
|
| The neighborhood would be foolish for taking any responsibility for any of your stuff |
|
Was this groceries or something like Blue Apron / Hello Fresh?
|
Ha I dont Even think she asked. Little Ms. Entitled just didn't feel like she needed to be there. And the poor delivery guy knocked on the neighbors door to see if she could take the stuff. |
|
OP, did you ask neighbor to accept order in advance?
Crickets..... |
hopefully it is a troll and not someone who really thinks that way. |
| Even if the neighbor was in your house and wouldn't accept the delivery because of that reason, it is fine. She isn't a mindreader and probably thought you would be angry if she accepted the order knowing it didn't include everything she needed on it. |
