Every single one of these. DCUM is so full of snark, but so invaluable for the collective wisdom and experience.
Baking soda bath and drying bum with a hair dryer for diaper rash. |
| Cooking bacon in the oven, and bleach baths to cure eczema |
| Revlon round hairdryer. Changed my life. |

Always infinity pads
Magnatiles |
| Packing aluminum foil on trips to make any bedroom completely dark. |
+1 to both of these things |

That you can lower the # of times per day that you BF and still not wean totally.
That if you end up not BF'ing, it's ok. That some babies just don't sleep at first. Gripe water! |
Thanks! I just ordered this today

Why? I wash them as often as I can... should I not? |
You should. Some people are ok with a little bacterial growth. |
Why bother? I just put mine in a ziplock in the fridge. The fridge keeps germs at bay. |
Milk is good in the fridge for 6-8 days. So, put the pump parts in a ziploc, stick them in the fridge, and then use them the next time you pump. There's just no need to wash them in between pumps in a single day. If I could go back, I would only wash pump parts every 2-3 days, lol. |
+1 I wash mine every other day. |
| I washed my pump parts on Wednesdays and Fridays and kept the parts in the fridge in between. Worked just fine for the six months I pumped at work. |

1) Put the sleep sack on backwards once the kid masters the zipper
2) On a long flight, letting my 1 yo pry cheerios out of my hand one at a time as a form of entertainment |
