I've done weight watchers a couple times in my life, and am about to start again (baby #2 is only 6 weeks, so I'm giving myself a "grace period" right now). I like that WW is about learning to eat real food in real life situations. It's really about lifestyle change, v. quick weight loss. My MIL and SIL lost weigh on Jenny Craig (70 and 20 lbs respectively) but have both since gained it back now that they are not just eating the prepackaged meals anymore.
I also love that WW makes special accomodations for nursing moms to help lose weight safely and maintain milk supply. I go to the meetings, because I personally need that feeling of accountability. Good luck. |
