Oops! Kushner wanted to move his tenants’ lawsuit from Baltimore City to Federal Court, but if he does that, he needs to reveal who his investors are. Can’t have that! Back to the locals it is, then!

The tenants’ lawsuit against Kushner was granted class cert and survived a motion to dismiss.

“Maryland Attorney General Brian Frosh has sued an apartment management company owned by senior White House adviser and presidential son-in-law Jared Kushner, alleging it routinely used “unfair or deceptive” rental practices while running rodent-infested apartments in Baltimore and the surrounding region.”

I dealt with this in a condo property in Arlington and couldn't do much until the contract that was signed with them was up. As soon as it was, I got someone else. How this is tied to Trump or his fault is anyone's guess.

But you liberals keep at he fake news stuff, I'm sure it will allow you to win the midterms. Because stuff like this is what people care about

Hehe this is a fun post two years later...

Hopefully in two years we will have many more of these to read!

I'm not sure I understand your post. You're saying Fake News because Kushner is overly aggressive at suing former tenants, whether or not the facts favor the tenant?

PP is saying that because he or she had a bad third-party manager once, this entire story about how Kushner Cos. manages its own properties is untrue.

PP, I must say that I find you fascinating. What on earth makes you defend this guy? What is he doing that is good for our government? What in his background attests to the fact that he has the experience to do so? Why can't you just call a bad person a bad person?

I am this PP and two and a half years later I still have these same questions.

Oh and look now he’s selling all of them.
“Kushner Cos., the real estate firm that had been led by former President Donald Trump’s son-in-law, is selling about half its Baltimore-area apartment complexes, including those mentioned in a complaint filed by the Maryland attorney general’s office for its alleged mistreatment of tenants.”

They've really been scraping the bottom of the barrel.

No, it is worse than that. They reached into the dark abyss for monsters. I hear they melt in the sun though, so that’s cool

“The apartment company of Jared Kushner violated Maryland’s consumer protection laws numerous times at Baltimore-area properties by collecting debts without the required licenses, charging tenants improper fees, and misrepresenting the condition of rental units, a judge has ruled.
In a 252-page decision issued Thursday, Administrative Law Judge Emily Daneker found that violations by Westminster Management and the company JK2 were “widespread and numerous.”

The judge found that tenants were misled frequently about the conditions of the apartments before they moved in. Often, they were only shown model units and weren’t allowed to see their actual apartment until move-in day.

One woman testified that in 2013, she was shown a nice, newly painted and updated unit at the Carriage Hill apartments in Randallstown. But when she moved in, she found mouse holes in the apartment they gave her. The rodents were an ongoing problem, with the woman finding droppings on her stove and counter, and hearing mice in the walls.”
