No.

Between the prom poster and horse sticker posters this has made my day. God bless you one and all.

What was she supposed to do that she could? Call the police and potentially ruin his life? He was talking to another adult (presumably one he actually knows) and was with a friend. I don't think "doing something" is as easy as you made it sound... Perhaps she could have gone into the HS to try to summon help? Not sure how feasible that is though and/or if the kid would still be there when she got back with said help (and the other adult may have already been from the school already).

But posting specific details about the kid on an anonymous forum is "helping". Why didn't you approach the kid and ask if he was ok and if you could help in any way? That would be showing concern. But just posting VERY specific details on DCUM doesn't do anything but make you look like a troublemaker. Hence the post about the STA mom. You can probably search that one up but basically one mom had a resentment against another and under the auspices of "concern" for the way the other mom drove, resentment mom basically outed bad driver mom in her private school community which led to lots of nasty postings about the woman.

I think you are just trying to cause trouble, but of course that's just my opinion!

I'm not the OP, FWIW. I don't think the instinct to make sure the kids parents know without necessarily tattling to the police or the school is the wrong one.
