OP here. Thank you so much for the kind words. This isn't something I would ever tell others in real life, but it was very nice to be able to share here and get such nice feedback. For those who asked, I just turned 50. So, not young, but still far away from retirement.

I had a single Mom, went to college on loans and lived in near poverty for many years. When I made it, it was unheralded by anyone outside of my marriage, but wow it felt great. It's a major milestone. You did well. |
