but it's having the opposite effect. people are standing up for atheists. And I bet the fundamentalists and others who speak openly against atheists - and anyone who doesn't believe exactly as they believe - are not posting here.

Dislike the behavior, not the person (or the child, as we parents always say).

How hard is that to understand? The recent thread on "Atheists are smarter" notwithstanding, OP seems incapable of grasping this simple point.

I wish the moderator would shut this whole forum down. And banish any talk of religion or atheism on other fora.

There was some talk a while back about making a name requirement, like on the explicit forum. That would shut down the trolls. But no progress. Ever.

I have no idea. Just tired of the hater (who stated she's been trolling atheists over the last two weeks) to stop blaming me for all of their bad actions over the years.

This highlights a problem with this forum. I would be happy to moderate it more aggressively, but people either don't report inappropriate posts or wait until the thread is 20 pages long to report them. If there is a "hater" that has been trolling atheists, the appropriate action would be to click the "report" button and let me know about it. That would be far more effective than a passive aggressive thread of this sort. Since your thread appears to have back-fired, I'm going to lock it.
