It gives me a sense of vertigo or dizziness that makes me quite nauseous. Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV) is easily treatable in a series of physical manipulations called the Eey manuever ( which I now have learned to do myself). Maybe this is what you have? (Although, I never had headache .)

Also agree with the possibility of concussion. When my DC had a concussion last year, his doctor said no to a school trip to Kings Dominion - too much risk of another concussion
FWIW, if you still have a headache a week later, you should probably check in with your GP.

NP here.....

Yes!! This is me. I am going to have to look into BPPV.

Typo - it's the Epley manuever. Semont manuever is another alternative.

Can you get a concussion purely from centrifugal force? Space ride is 2.5g but there is no real banging around like a roller coaster

OP here- can something like a ride cause vertigo?

I get it on rides like that. I had to stop riding amusement park rides in my 30s. I know others who can't ride them either. I've been to the doctor a few times for it.

It's probably vertigo - get a prescription for antivert from an urgent care clinic and you'll feel better in 30 minutes!

OP, you have thrown off your vestibular balance and it has not self-corrected, so get to ent or neuro. If you want to read, google it.

+1
The G forces from that ride can really mess you up. I have greater respect for astronauts and airforce pilots after getting off that ride.

Good luck op and post back with an update.

Assumption of risk is at work here.

This is not vertigo, I have it. You should still see your doctor. My dad felt like crap after this ride too.

I want on that ride years and years ago and I was sick the rest of the day. I think orange is the more intense of the two? To the person who suggested a lawyer - Disney has many many many warnings about that ride so people know what to expect . I will never go on that ride again good luck OP !

OP UPDATE: Thanks everyone. I went to urgent care today and they indeed said they thought it was the crystals in the ear thing. They gave me zofran for the nausea and showed me how to do the eply maneuver.

Here's hoping!!!

Why do companies manufacture such nonsense...and why do people think things like this are fun? Read the link to the lawsuits that a pp posted. A kid had a heart attack and died. At an amusement park. This is not amusing. It baffles me.
