DH who loves to sext with DW but she often is too tied up during the day (she's a teacher). More of than not when she sexts me (or responds), I'm in meetings and I can't reply since I'm typically chairing the meetings.

OP here. No, not unemployed. I am a biglaw associate. Not sure how that is relevant?
