I hate Netflix algorithms

As a result, it's been our family profile, it was my single chick profile, and it's still our family profile for the TV with the 8 year old Roku on it. My suggestions are worthless. I guess I could create a new profile and leave mine as the junk profile. Has anyone done that?

I don't think it matters how many profiles you create, they still use weird algorithms to predict what you want to watch. Plus their search function sucks. It's sad, but it you want to find out what's on Netflix that's worth watching, you need to google independent websites that have reviews.

On our account, we have profiles for me, DH, DS, and my parents. We all get different suggestions, many of which are right-on.

But this mumble jumble of recommended titles also sucks on Amazon, where I watched 5 Bob the Builders and 8 Thomas the Tank Engines with my 2 year old and now I can't find ANYTHING else that's relevant to me! It's just suggesting kids shows for pages and pages.

Look up titles when you're not signed in then. The suggestions are usually more relevant. Same also for IMDB as to what other movies people liked.
