mismatch between tax records and actual house

Anonymous
Ive actually done the opposite.
Older house that we bought 30 years ago and wanted to sell was at 1800 sq ft in the gov auditor site. The house has been built up many times since then and it was at close to 5000 sq ft living space.

We had an inspector come in and update the records, and guess what it did not show up, but after a few emails they updated the official records.
We sold a month later for a record sum. You would be amazed at the amount of folks that are interested in huge houses. Even our realtor told us that we got an excellent price for our old house. Now it will suck for the new owner once they get a 3x tax bill.
