APS open house for incoming students

OP here: Oh sorry! We are registered for Claremont. So 99.9% sure we are going there incase something crazy comes up. It looks like they have a parrot passport thing for rising kindergarten students in May, but I am not sure what it is.

Isn't Claremont a choice program, and hasn't the application period not even closed yet? How are you already registered?

If you mean you've put in the application and you're presuming you'll have a spot, you probably haven't heard anything because you're not officially registered yet. Once it's official after the application process is done, you'll get more information.

Isn't Claremont a choice program, and hasn't the application period not even closed yet? How are you already registered?

If you mean you've put in the application and you're presuming you'll have a spot, you probably haven't heard anything because you're not officially registered yet. Once it's official after the application process is done, you'll get more information.

Yes, it is choice, but for this year anyway, it has areas with guaranteed admission. I am in one of those neighborhoods and they let me register already. They have sent out a couple emails, but nothing about that yet (just about parentvue). But yes, you are probably right that I will hear more, once the application process is done.

NP. Oh, glad to read this post. We submitted our application for Key (we live in a guaranteed admission zone, so no lottery for us), but haven't heard back from the school. And, I was wondering about why we haven't heard back from the school. Super helpful to know the timing of school response. Looks like we will hear something from the school mid-April or towards the end of April. Thank you.

Oh yes OP here. I think people are notified April 22nd or something. Around then anyway. Again, we only know about Claremont because we are in a guaranteed admission neighborhood.
