? The way they test for all seizures is non invasive, the eeg.


EEGs I consider invasive for a small child especially if they make you do it sleep deprived, although you're right, they don't involve any actual cutting. And depneding on the results they may make you do an MRI too. Absence seizures they can screen for by doing a simple hyperventilation test.
