Screen Time, Kindle Fire, and please help me make this work!

I really don't see why you need the tablet you have, and knowing the risks (ADHD is a heritable trait!), why you would buy others.

We are an ADHD family and our elementary and middle school kids have no portable electronics. Our middle school kid has the most severe ADHD of us all, and a video game addiction. He is allowed limited time on the home computer for homework and gaming.

We are also voracious readers, but we travel very light. Many people here seem to travel with their house, like snails. My kids talked to us or looked out of the window or day-dreamed in the car, or we would listen to music. No need for anything else. You can get audiobooks that you can all listen to, and that will cut down on the individual stuff you thought you needed.
