Disney for 6 yr old who isn't into princesses or movies?

My DD's favorite rides are Test Track and Big Thunder Mountain. She loves meeting the characters too but her favorite part is always the rides.

My kids really enjoyed the 3D shows, lightshow, etc. too. And Small World too. There's a ton of non-princess stuff that is really great.

My DD was 4 when we went and not into princesses. She had a great time, except that she got irritated that all the staff kept calling her "princess". They must train them to do that. By midday she was telling all of them, "I'm not a princess, my name is X!"

I love Disney as an adult and neither I nor my kids are that into the characters. It's just a fun experience for all.

If your family has never been, then definitely go to Disney world. That is the perfect age for her to have fun with the "magic" of it all. As a parent, you'll probably get caught up in it too, as it's hard not to feel completely like a kid again while you're there. I was a little anti-Disney until I went, and now I'm definitely a fan.
