How many Hamilton-obsessed ten year olds do you know?

Anonymous
None.

And neither am I. I honestly don't get the hype and have zero interest but have tons of friends who are into it so I play along and pretend I am soooo disappointed I can't get tickets

My 10 year old loves it. So do I!

DD likes it but DW is worried about language and sexual innuendo

My daughter is a Hamilton obsessed 9 year old and there are others in her class. I had to talk her out of singing Burn for the school talent show.

This was me with Phantom of the Opera in the 80s.

And me with Annie. Very early 80s. Age 7 or 8?

And my sister with Cats. I had to accompany her on "Memories" when we were in the car together. I'm sure that's normal.

I'm a 37 year old who is obsessed with it. Oh and my kids are, too. 7 and 9.

How old is your DD?
Not sure how one locates it, but there is supposedly a "clean" version that subs something, I'm not sure what, for curse words. I don't know, though, how that version would handle "Say No to This," because the issue there isn't curse words....You and DW know your DD best and know if she can handle the language as something that's in context in the songs, but understands that doesn't mean it's OK for her to say day to day. As for the sexual content, you can always skip "Say No to This" if DD's younger. As for the other sexual content, which isn't much, it's possible your DD is taking away from the songs only what she likes, and not fully understanding some of the references....?
