WIS - is it truly academically superior to all other than Sidwell?

We are American family and chose WIS, not because it's superior but because it offered something no other school did: a second language. If you go thru the primary school, u become pretty close to fluent. The middle school has an incredible repuation and the upper school is IB. In addition, it is a different sort of crowd than most other area privates. The Wis kids get into great universities-- so - superior?. Who knows? How does one judge that? But a great fit for our family.
