Episiotomy/Delivery Pain - When does it go away?

Definitely took a while - maybe a couple of months. Then I kept sitting on a donut (definitely get one or two!) for months after that. The sitz bath helped, as did the spray from the hospital. The hemorrhoids were probably the worst - sorry, but that went on for a really long time. Get some numbing gel! Also, and it's weird to think of right now b/c it's summer time, but putting the heated seat on in the car while I was driving/riding felt really good.
