I'm also looking for the "best" (aren't most of us?), but best for our family.
DH works near Mosaic District, we don't have to buy right away, renting ok for few years. We would like to stay in the same pyramid so DC can go 1-12 with his friends. We are a little worried about the area of Vienna, Falls Church and Oakton and how we would fit in. So many upper middle class people there and we are lower middle class immigrants. Wouldn't want DC traveling to another school for AAP. Don't really understand this AAP thing and having to leave your school to get AAP. There's also level IV and now we are really confused. It this AAP for kids whose parents don't want them to be take to another school some days? As you can see, we have lots of homework to do. Schools that caught my eye are Oakton, Mosby Woods, Fling Hill and other Vienna schools and FC city schools. |
Fairfax needs a new high school as well |

The one that has the highest average income
The one that has the most whites and asians The one that has the least brown and black people The one that has the least ESOL% The one that has the lowest FARMS% DCUM yall are a bunch of elitists and racists |
The need is not as acute and may be avoided entirely, as existing schools are being expanded, either as part of their renovations (Marshall, Langley, West Springfield, Oakton) or otherwise (South Lakes, Madison, West Potomac). |
