I think this is an appropriate response. Personally I wouldn't think it's respectful to play music with foul language in a car with my mom--even if I listen to t all the time and even though she's no dummy--it's just a respect thing.

I grew up listening to 90's rap and hiding my CD's with explicit language labels. I still listen to those same albums! And I don't curse constantly or demean other people. I agree, it's just entertainment.
