Right to work means the right to be a freeloader. You can get the benefits of a union contract without having to pay anything for the union's services that negotiate and enforce the agreement.
It's like if I could get my trash picked up like everyone else on my street but had a "right to trash pickup" that meant I didn't have to contribute and pay my property taxes. |
