Do NOT cut them! We tried this on our 10 mo old who immediately yanked out any clip or hair band. She was a super high-energy squirmy girl and we were scared to have scissors near her face, so we held her down and quickly did a speed chop. BAD decision! The bangs were way too short and horribly lopsided. Poor thing, her hair looked so bad until it grew out. (I mean, not that she gave a crap, but the grandmas were just *devastated* that their little angel had mutilated hair!)
I guess if your kid is the type to actually sit still if you give them an iphone, it might work better. |
| We do a side pony. I can't handle the clips, she always pulls them out. |

The easiest is to cut them. But, if beauty is that important put a headband around it.

OP back, thanks for the tips. I got those no-slippy-hair-clippies and I'll see how it goes. I'd cut it, but I think that it will be non-bangs hair once it gets a bit longer, she's just in a weird spot with hair of a couple different lengths due to some of it falling out when she was a few months old and some of it continuing to grow like crazy. It's in a bit of a... transitional stage. So I'm trying to hold off on cutting/trimming until I have a better idea of what's going where. We do brush it out her eyes as much as possible, but it doesn't always stay put.
I did realize the ridiculousness of this when I asked it, but Google was failing me and I know the DCUMmers might have some suggestions (including to cut it!). Thanks all... |
