does anyone else legitimately have almost all their friends get pregnant SUPER easily for each child

I hear what all of you are saying. I often have these feelings too. I just remind myself that we never know what awaits those people down the road. Most of us experience hardships at one point or another. If we're lucky they'll be limited in number! At least I feel like I've had enough heartbreak for one lifetime

We just got a mailed announcement for Expecting Baby #4 from my husband's supposed "best friend" and his wife. They know we have been struggling for a long time, and I just find it insensitive on their part to send us the announcement. Please, send it all of your other friends and just tell my husband separately, who will tell me at the right moment!

Who sends an announcement for baby #4 anyway? that is crazy and totally insensitive in your case. Honestly people who can easily get pregnant just have no idea what we are going through and some of them don't mean to be insensitive but often are. hang in there!!!!

My group of friends has had the opposite experience. I conceived our first easily, then has two early losses and took 18 months to get pregnant with our second. Every one of my friends in one circle had trouble. Varying from several rounds of IVF to IUI, no one as able to get pregnant without assistance. Two couples are still not pregnant. We are all early-mid 30s, so not spring chickens but not 40 either.

Wow, OP here. Not my experience at all. As I said, even my friends who needed assistance the first time around went on to have super quick natural conceptions or even accidental conceptions

Not my experience. Of my group of 7 girlfriends with kids (including me), 4 conceived easily and 3 required assistance. Of these 3, 1 conceived on the first IUI after multiple chemical pregnancies, 1 conceived via her 2nd round of IVF, and 1 conceived after many rounds of IVF and other treatments over the course of about 5 years. We are al in our mid-thirties.

I conceived easily the first time and now am TTC #2 and have been trying for 2.5 years and there's pretty much no hope at this point that I will ever be pregnant again. Everyone I know had primary infertility and had no issues getting pregnant a second time.
