If you buy Tea on sale it's comparable to BabyGap.

I don't think all the responses realized it's for a 6 month old in daycare.

Baby gap is actually quite nice. I also like kissy kissy and Zara. I like real babyish stuff at that age.

Babies grow so quickly that it seems wasteful to spend $15-25 per item on tea, etc. I do spend more on clothes for my four year old because she can sometimes get two seasons out of an outfit, so she has some higher end things for weekend wear.

Totally agree on this.. and you should better check online stores

I mix Carters, Old Navy and Target. Then occasional things from Childrens Place. They grow so fast the cheap stuff is fine. My 2.5 year old is just now at a place where she can wear stuff for 6 months or maybe longer, so I might invest in some nicer dresses. But before then it's not worth it.

Cat and jack does not wash well, but it is cute.

In a world where I don't feel it is incredibly wasteful to spend obscene amounts of money on children's clothes that will be stained, ripped, or outgrown within a matter of a few months:

Tea, Miniboden

So I actually buy at Target and Old Navy.

I do look for sales on Tea and will buy a few pieces at the end of season sales for the following year. It's still expensive on sale.
