I actually agree with one of the PPs. If your child is truly gifted at math, the magnets at TPMS and Blair are your best options. Fantastic peer group, challenging work, and top-flight research and acceleration opportunities.

They have to pass the test first, though.

I agree. Most magnet school mathy kids are supplementing math by taking AOPS online courses. Feynman adopts the prealgebra book for their 5/6 grade class.
