Np here. I've tried this twice. It's 15+ minutes of inane chatter about dumb unrelated stuff, then I change it because I can't handle it.

Do they EVER get to it? Is the entire show like that?

Forensic Files. Could watch all day - the narrator's voice gives me chills, but I love it!

Yes! I feel the same way, it does get better but you definitely need to skip all the banter at the beginning

Have you listened to the podcast Someone Knows Something? I'm only a few episodes in, and it's great. Similar to Serial in that they're researching one case, the cold case of a missing child in Canada years ago. He went missing in the woods one day, without a trace. I love the setting, small town Ontario, woodsy, rustic, every one has an odd Canadian/Scottish accent.

I love MFM but there's a lot of unrelated chit chat for sure. They don't do much research but find good murders to retell and heir humor is good.

I'm listening to You Must Remember This Podcast's series on Charles Manson's Hollywood and it's insanely good. She does tons of research and tells a good story.

Anonymous wrote:I never used to be into this stuff, but ever since watching Making a Murder and listening to the Adnan Sayed podcast, I can't seem to get enough of this true crime stuff.

I've watched The Detectives, all the different Jon Benet shows, Amanda Knox and a few others I'm forgetting.

I know there are a ton of true crime lovers out there. What else should I watch?

LOVE!!

Swamp Murders.

Download the ID Channel app. You won't regret it.
