Margaux, Margo, or Margot?

Margaux is an AOC in France. Even if you are REALLY into Bordeaux... no.

Margo (simpler) or Margot

I like Margo. Keep it simple

If you're going for French, then Margot. Margo is the English version. Margaux strikes me as a historical kr8tive spelling or Cajun, though that would be Margeaux.

Margarita, nn Margo.

Margot is the most common spelling in French. Margaux just looks prettier.

Margaux is a WINE. Grow up.

Margaux looks like you're trying to jazz up the name by making up a weird spelling. I really dislike weird made up spelling of proper names. Stick with Margot.

Considering that:

a) that poster's last name begins with a C and OP's last name begins with an L
&
b) that post is from April so I'm guessing the poster already named her baby

I'm going to go out on a limb & say it's not OP.
