What? That's disgusting! Why do swingers hang out in Clydeses?

The Clydes in Friendship Heights is definitely a meet up spot for 50-somethings. Not sure if that includes swingers, though I think of Clydes as a chain-like, but technically not a national chain, restaurant.

I just don't know where the clientele will go, it's not like there's a piano bar in the neighborhood or anything

Yuck. As if Clyde's weren't gross enough on its own. But to each his own.

Clyde's has retained ownership of the land for now, so its possible they will include a restaurant in the planned high rise residential buildings that are being built on it next year. Or maybe they'll relocated to Mosaic too. Too bad though, we've always liked it with family, and its not nearly as loud as other places.

We love the Clyde's in Friendship Heights. Great food. Great for kids too. Always good wine selections as well.

I'll try to help you out: in other words, it's a local chain.

Amazing art work and sculptures in that place. The value of that, alone, could be millions upon millions I would think. A great spot, albeit kind of oddly situated. Time moves on.

Us old folk like a decent place to go have a drink every now and then, we don't all belong to a country club. Not everyone is looking to hook up.
