ACT Prep...How much improvement?

You folks are giving me hope. thoughts on act v sat?

DC went from 27-31 by going thru practice tests in a book and waiting almost a year before retaking.

You may find the improvement not directly related to the formal test prep but more practice and maturity in coursework.
