I miss church

Catholicism isn't about liberal or conservative. There have been Catholics of all stripes throughout history. It's about learning about God and his plan for you, conforming your heart to his wishes and hopefully thereby saving your immortal soul.

not even this applies to all catholics. Some keep going because of family tradition, superstitious fear and the smell of incense.

The reasons why people do go don't always match what they could be getting out of it, I agree with that.
