Budget and commutes are more important in those areas. The difference between the schools is too small. Vienna is too far away to commute to DC IMO. |
If you can afford it, North Arlington would offer a good commute for the Tysons commuter and a better commute for the DC person than Vienna. (I've commuted to DC and Tysons from both Fairfax and Arlington.)
I used to live in Merrifield (near Vienna metro) and now live in North Arlington - moving here cut quite a bit of time from my DC commute. We're very happy with the area and the schools, and I spend less time in traffic. But it's expensive - you do get less house for your money. |
