Sidwell 6th>>there were some multimedia type presentations, some creative group making/building presentations, also a research paper (step by step starting with note cards>>outline>>paper), in class writing in English.
Sidwell 7th>>not so many formal papers yet. however focus is more analytical which is appropriate. History feels quite rigorous. kids have to outline the text nightly as they read, distilling out essential information, which is terrific preparation for high school, college and beyond. They are also doing that some in science.
