Are pacifier clips safe?

Seriously. I've never heard of pacifier clips being a problem before and I would love to see some actual documentation.


+1 Our NAEYC certified center allows them.

Why would they be unsafe? They are couple inches long. Nothing that could strangle a child. My center allowed them and it is a large, national chain. Also, to the anti pacifier people...I can totally see the issue with an older toddler with one, but with a baby in daycare....let them have whatever sooths them. No need to be so hard on a young child.
