DC local news is the worst of anyplace I have ever lived.


The News 4 team are all old, tired and need to be put out to pasture. Eun Yang must be wondering why she has been waiting around for these people to retire - bunch of zombies

You must have only lived in big cities, PP. Have you ever watched the local news in Rochester, NY? Scranton, PA? Smaller cities? Those newscasts are cringe worthy.

OP back. It's not about her age. Jim Vance, Barbara Harrison, Doug Hill- all older news casters that I think are great and love to watch. Like I said, Maureen sounds like she is tired and bored all the time. Stumbles and can't annunciate. Maybe she always has, I don't know! But like a pp said, personality of stone.

OP here, I love Doreen too! And agreed, our local news teams are mostly great. I lived in West VA for a while and got Pittsburgh local news. It was almost a joke

I agree. Eun Yang and Aaron Gilchrist are really boring but they seem to do a lot of work in the community, which is important so I think that offsets their level of boring.

That should apply to radio people as well but most of them don't do any community work.
