First of all, it's hilarious.

Second of all, it's your situation. It's a scam.

OP, I have a lovely bridge I'd like to sell if you're interested. Very cheap!

Thank your lucky stars that you had enough common sense to come here and post.

Oldest scam in the book just as everyone else said!

Funny enough, we had one of our young, eager salesmen fall for this scam. Buyer said he was ordering a bunch of things to be sent to his freight forwarder in NYC who would send it on to Indonesia. But wouldn't you know it, his freight forwarder was very old school, a mom-and-pop operation and couldn't accept anything but cash payments for their services. No worries, Mr. Indonesia sent a big fat check to cover the expense of the freight forwarder along with an extra $100 for our salesperson being so accommodating. The "buyer" was rushing our sales guy that he was going to have to back out if he didn't get the freight forwarding company booked ASAP. He was freaking out, thinking his big fat check and commission were going bye-bye because Accounting was dragging its feet processing the payment. He was about to go get the cash from his own bank account to try to keep this seller when Accounting notified his boss that he was being scammed. We still tease him to this day.
