When would you start wondering about implantation issues?

| Immune testing is a blood test and way cheaper than IVF. I don't think you should waste time and money on IVF before knowing. If the tests come back fine then you can move to IVF knowing the likelihood is small that it is an implantation issue. |

| Did you husband get tested as well? You may be surprised of the results. If both you and husband had the tests done and nothing turn up on his end, then IVF to rule out the fertilization failure issue? |

| I would advise consulting with Abbasi for testing (immune and clotting panels) before going forward. IVF is terribly expensive and you don't have time or money to waste. |

This. Very few women have implantation issues. To jump to this conclusion is bizarre. There are plenty of women who IUI doesn't work for and they must try IVF. I tried for four years. First IVF attempt worked. |

OP here. Yes, my husband had the sperm analysis done several times plus we got his results during the IUIs after the sperm washing procedure. All normal. |

| Given you got pregnant easily the first time, I wouldn't jump to age related issues just yet. I would see Abbasi for immune testing and a clotting panel. It is better to cross it off the list before dropping thousands on IVF. |

Hmmm, I don't agree. Secondary infertility is very real, especially in your late thirties. I've seen a zillion posts here by people who conceived #1 easily and are now struggling. |

You only did two IUIs. Maybe you have implantation issues, but it is more likely that you just have old eggs. Do IFV with PGS.
There is one standard clotting blood test panel that can rule out those issues. You could get tested for other immune stuff, but it isn't that cheap and is harder to interpret. |

| OP here. Met with Abassi, did the testing and was found to have repeat implantation failure due to immune issues (severe). I'm very depressed about this. |

| I had implantation issues, met with Abbasi and then Braverman and now have 3 babies once we fixed everything. Do not dispair OP most of these things can be fixed. What treatments did she recommend? I've done most of them between all 3 successful pregnancies, so if you have any questions I'm happy to answer them. |

| OP here. By severe I mean that all of my results were highly abnormal--my NK cell activity was incredibly high, for instance. All my other results were high/bad. In other words, what is happening is that my repeat implantation failure is so severe that I'm not even getting to the miscarriage/chemical pregnancy stage. I have not done the clotting panel yet, just the immune panel. On the immune tests when they added the IVIG to my cells the values didn't budge really. I didn't want to get that many vials drawn at once so just started with the immune panel. I was with GW before, they quoted me a 20% chance of a birth before. Now my chances of a birth are much lower. I feel really depressed and can't believe this is happening after such an easy time getting pregnant/easy pregnancy. |

| I would assume it's age. Do Nc IVF instead of IUi. IUi is a waste of time at your age. |
